Buick Open Course

John Daly Buick Open Golf Final Round

The Buick Open course at the Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club is one of the highest-rated golf courses in Michigan. The condition of the course is exceptional. Golf Digest rated this course as the 20th “Best in State” course for 1997-1998.

The Warwick Hills golf course was originally designed by James Gilmore Harrison, and opened in 1958. Ten years later, Joe Lee set about a major redesign. It is a relatively short course – 7,127 yards, par 72, with large flat greens, which create lots of opportunities for birdies.

The tournament record is 262 in 1987, held by Robert Wrenn. The current course record is 61 in 2001, held by Billy Mayfair.
